Good afternoon, back from lunch and looking for ways to slack.

Only wrote 2 scenes for the screenplay last night. The montage, which I'm positive will be altered heavily, depending on exactly we decided to do it, took a lot out of me. I need to reread the script to get more in the mind of the last 3 scenes that need to be written. 2 at the beggining of Act III (though I didn't, specifically write it in Acts, they came through fairly clearly. The montage puts a clear cut beggining on Act III) and one near the end. In the home stretch now.

Picked up my comics (yay!) last night. Harlequin Valentine, which I read over lunch, was cute. Gave me some ideas for theatre/improv pieces I may eventually do. (Put it on the board with all the rest I need to get around to doing.) 100 Bullets is interesting me less and less. I may just pick it up in trades, where it reads better. I'm not even sure why I'm picking up Bone monthly... I enjoy the trades and figure I'll eventually catch up when the next trade comes out. It'll be easier to follow monthly then.

Getting damned excited about the film. Need tog et my drunks in a row as far as scheduling the places we need permission to be so we can get this bitch started.

Side note--- I didn't much like this movie the first time I saw it. Liked it much more on a second viewing, though I think the ending sort of chickened out (not really, but kinda).

Meant to try to update this in the mornings but it didn't happen today.

Spent part of last night arranging index cards on a wall to more easily see where the screenplay needed some extra scenes. Things make a lot more sense that way--- you can glance at it and get a feel for what's going on as opposed to going through all the pages and trying to keep that in your head. I came up with 9 new scenes to flesh it out. Wrote 4 last night and have the rest to do before making changes to what was already there. Hoping to have it done by the end of the week. (I've already marked all over the script, so it's more a matter of transferring those notes and working some scenes up a bit more.)

Got Miracleman Book 1: A Dream of Flying in today from ebay. Read it at lunch. Wow. I'm going to get 2 and 3, though 3 will cost me a pretty penny. I'll know on the 1st how much I'll have to pay by ebay auction for 3. Need to find 2, though I should be able to get #2 for less then $100. With luck, 3 will be in the $150-200 range. It'll be worth it though. I'd read #4 already and enjoyed it but #1 was incredible. Everything a superhero comic should be, and I'm not even much a fan of Superheroes anymore.

Yesterday was a good day. Got Miracleman Book 4, which I won on Ebay and it looks like I'll be doing the Indy film. The script is in a rough state right now and I'm currently in the process of editing and polishing it. I'm happy with how it's going but always feel slightly foolish when I try to give a capsulated version of it.
